BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a three-year undergraduate degree in business, management, economics, or accounting. It's a popular course for commerce students after class 12, but students from the arts and science streams can also pursue it if they studied math in 10+2.

The BCom degree provides students with a comprehensive education on the fundamentals of business and commerce, including topics such as:

Economics, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Business laws, Entrepreneurship, Taxation, and Industrial laws.

Students are also taught how to apply their knowledge in the business world strategically and analytically.

In India, the BCom course is divided into six semesters and is available as a full-time, distance, or online program. To be eligible for a BCom course, candidates must have completed class 12 in the commerce stream with compulsory subjects including accountancy, business studies, math, and/or economics.

BCom graduates often find themselves in roles like accountancy, banking, or finance.
