MASTER OF ARTS (ECONOMICS)

A Master of Arts (MA) in Economics is a two-year postgraduate degree that teaches students the fundamentals of economic analysis. The course covers a wide range of topics, including:

Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Public economics, Econometrics, International and financial economics, Finance, Market management, Wealth production, distribution, and consumption, Individuals, and Businesses. 

The course also offers optional subjects that students can specialize in, such as: Health economics, Urban economics, and Industrial organization. 

MA Economics graduates can work as economics, financial analysts, market researchers, and data analysts in government agencies, financial departments of companies, and market research firms. The course also prepares students for entrepreneurial ventures. 

To be eligible for admission to an MA in Economics program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minimum passing marks of 50% from a recognized university.
